The devs that keep on giving, Hello Games, released another update for their space sandbox, No Man’s Sky today.
The update is called Prisms and this time the update is focused more on visual upgrades rather than gameplay changes. Although some of these changes won’t affect previous gen consoles such as PS4 (Pro) or Xbox One (S/X), the changes will be very noticeable on current gen consoles and PC.
Among some of the visual improvements are lighting, extra planetary details, reflections, atmospheric lighting in caves, animal fur, better warp effects and a whole lot more. And though this update seems to be focused on visual upgrades they also added things like exotic companions, rideable flying creatures, a synthesis laboratory, among a few other things. I encourage you to check out the video above and the patch release for all the details.
